1. The Initial Phone Call

We begin with a friendly phone or video call to discuss the property and its contents. This is our chance to understand the size of the estate, the items within the home, and your end goals. Whether it’s a single weekend sale or a multi-weekend event, we’ll work with you to determine the best approach. Contact us now!


2. Property Visit

Next, we visit the property with you and walk through the space. This helps us gain a better understanding of the layout and inventory. During this visit, you’ll provide us with more information on what you hope to achieve and in what timeframe. We can discuss different options regarding the sale of items, establish do's and don'ts, and create a plan to move forward together.


We will also discuss which items you would like to keep and which items might be a good candidate for auction. If you would like to keep and transport certain items, we can make this happen as well.


3. The Contract

Once we’re aligned on the details, we’ll send over an electronic contract outlining the terms of the estate sale and our other agreements. After your review, both parties will sign to confirm everything is clear and that all expectation are established.


4. Preparing for the Sale

Once we have a set of keys, our team can get to work! We will take photos for marketing, remove and store items that are to be kept, organize and price every item in the home, and setup an appealing layout for shoppers. From furniture to collectibles, everything will be prepared to ensure the sale runs smoothly.


5. The Sale

On the scheduled weekend(s) that are established in the contract, we host the estate sale. Berkshire Legacy has a vast and loyal customer base. We also utilize the latest in marketing technology to ensure profitable sales each and every time. We welcome shoppers, manage transactions, and do our best to sell as much as possible at the highest possible price. We even offer delivery service to our customers which ensures that 'big and hard to sell' items turn into cash in your pocket.


6. Your Earnings

Once the sale is complete, we’ll provide you with your share of the proceeds. You’ll have peace of mind knowing the process was handled professionally and efficiently and that every transaction was recorded for your review. At every step we’re here to guide you and make the process as simple and seamless as possible. 7. Additional Services

In addition to handling the appraisal, estate sale, and auction we offer add-on services to make this transitional period even easier for you.
